Passive Antenna
Description
Passive GPS antennas are mainly applied to receive and transmit signals, so they are broadly installed in positioning and navigation equipment, such as vehicles, handsets, and so on. Passive antennas are classified into internal ones and external ones. An external passive antenna is composed of a ceramic antenna, LNA, cable, connector and housing. Compared with an external antenna, an internal one has no housing. Different sizes of passive antennas are available. Cables and connectors can be selected as you need.

Attentions
1. For external antennas, there are three methods to install: magnet adsorption, adhesive gluing and screw fastening.
2. Internal passive antenna is sensitive, it is better for customers to send us your devices. We will test and adjust the antenna with the devices.
3. Please make sure that the GPS passive ceramic patch antenna is not covered by metal sheet when working in case the signal-receptions are interfered.
Suggestions
A passive antenna has no power supply and amplifying circuit. It receives weak signals and transmits to host directly. The signals will become unstable when they are module analyzed by the host, because weak signals have some loss in cable transmission. Since there is no amplifying circuit in the module, there is no problem to use GPS passive ceramic patch antennas in an empty place. But it will be not proper when the surrounding condition is bad, since signals may be disturbed by bad surrounding environment.
Maintenance and Package
1. We guarantee replacement within one year if there is any quality problem and offer lifetime maintenance.
2. For external passive antenna, plastic bag is the innermost package, small white box as the middle and carton (49.35 cm × 22.5 cm × 27 cm) as the outer package.
3. Internal passive aerial is wrapped with plastic bag and put in a carton (37 cm × 37 cm × 17cm).
